Good Naked (Brooklyn NY) is pleased to present its second exhibition RomCom, opening November 15 from 6-9pm and running through December 15, 2019.

The artworks in this exhibition skew toward romance with a hint of comedy and the other way around.  Objects engage intimate encounters, stumbling upon humor and absurdity in their unflappable quest for a picturesque denouement.

Madeline Donahue’s sculptures unapologetically parade vulnerable and private reflections on body and place.

Barry Hazard’s reliefs model dollhouse-scaled vistas with an eerie underbelly.

Timothy Lai’s paintings (pictured above) reveal a climactic wrestling and flailing in public corners.

Sarah Alice Moran’s sculptures whisper/forecast mysterious turns of events upcoming.

Hannah Shaw’s cartoons dissect daily occurrences with a sensitive line and sharp wit. 

Cody Tumblin’s collages/paintings speak to feeling and play via animated shape and color.

Tony Bluestone’s washy figures slip through and hide in/around architectural supports.

Peter Schenck’s chopped up figures reveal themselves with bold and bawdy weight/shape.
